Picnic fun

We had the Park City Municipal Summer picnic last night.  The kids had so much fun with the bounce house, slide, clown, and running around.  They had someone do face paintings, but the kids jsut wanted their legs painted.  If you ask them where their snake or flower are they will point right away to their legs.  We are getting sad that summer is coming to an end.  We have had so much fun this summer.   They wouldn't go on the slides by their selves at the beginning of the summer and now they don't want mom or dad to help them.  Oh how they have grown!

A Day at the Park...

Bella's check-up

It was time to take Bella in for her 18month check-up.  She is growing up so fast.  She is doing so well!  The only concern from the doctor is her eyes which we are going to see the specialist about  since she may have a bit of lazy eye (which if you look close enough you can tell from this picture).  We will know once we go to Primary Children's (as soon as mom makes the appointment).  She also got caught up on all her shots.  Tyler was patting her leg when she was screaming from the shots.  I am sure he was relieved to know that he wasn't going next.  Here are her stats:

22.2lbs - 25th percentile
34" tall - 95th percentile
46cm for her head circum - 25th percentile.

As you can see she is a tall skinny little gal that is talking more and more and is so much fun!  I can't imagine our lives without her.  We love her so much!!! 

Using Utensils

The kids are starting to use utensils.  They still make a huge mess, but they seem to love it! 

Papa's Cabin

Every summer the Day family side gets together for a little family reunion at Papa's Cabin in Cascade, Idaho.  It is so much fun to be with family.  The kids loved it.  It is a place where they can throw rocks, find sticks, swim in the dirt (yes they swam), run around and throw the balls with their cousins.  They are so lucky to have cousins that love them so much!  However, they think that their cousin McKay's name is cousin.  He is just a few months younger than Bella and the three of them are going to have a lot of fun and trouble together as they grow up.  He may be the youngest, but he is the toughest!  Here are some pictures of the week!  Can't wait to play with them at the cabin at Christmas!

Summer Fun!

We have had so much fun this summer.  We have tried to go to one or two activities a week and have done fun activities like going to see their cousins in Wyoming (and all their fun animals), splash pad, Red Butte, Farmer's Market, the duck pond, the frog pond and swing, Library, zoo, and of course the fun parks.  I am really blessed to have good friends that go to help out with the kids since it can be like chasing kittens - each going their own separate way!  Sometimes I forget to take the camera but sometimes I remember.  Here are some fun summer pictures!

Father's Day

For Father's Day I took the kids to have their pictures taken at the International Peace Gardens.   It was a complete surprise to Bret.  Here are a few of my favorites.  They love their Daddy so much!  Every morning they wake up and call for Daddy no matter how much I try to get them to say Mommy.  Of course, my favorite times of the day are watching them read books and playing with Daddy!

Big brother!

Austin James Peterson went home to his Heavenly Father last week.  We were sad to have him leave us, but we know that he is watching over Tyler from heaven just as a big brother would.  I thought I would post a few pictures of Austin with Tyler.
