What a difference a year makes!

I can't believe it has been a year that our brave son went through his major surgery.  Well, I woke the kids up early and packed them up to go to the doctor's today for what we hoped would be Tyler's last appointments.  We didn't get the news that we hoped for, but we didn't get bad news either.  Tyler has 2 small areas that are still healing, so we are going to have the helmet on only at night for the next few weeks and then we go back to the doctor on May 22nd.  So, please pray that he gets healed quickly and another helmet is not needed.  Meanwhile, I wasn't going to let it spoil the moment, so we went to lunch to celebrate the small milestone and took a few pictures of the many different faces (helmet free) that he shows us everyday.   We love you our brave son!

Easter outfits

Here they are in their Easter outfits.  I have to share this cute story too!  I took Bella upstairs with me last night and Tyler stayed downstairs with Dad.  However, Bella kept looking under the door and calling for Bubba - Tyler's nickname.  It was so cute!

Easter Egg Hunt pt.2...

We spent Easter Weekend in St. George and had our Easter Egg hunt down in the beautiful weather.  The Easter bunny came to visit this weekend and they got quiet books for church, bubbles, ballons, basketball, play cell phones and some candy.  Of course second to the candy was the 25cent punch balloons.  We spread the holiday out over 2 weekends.

Bella walking too!

Bella learned to walk right after Tyler.  Here is a cute video of her walking and pointing to the dog on her shirt.  She loves animals and is crazy about this outfit because of the dogs everywhere.  Tyler got into the action too! 

Big guy walking...

Bella and Tyler have both been sick this week.  Bella had a cold, but Tyler was diagnosed with Asthma.  He has had a hard week with pokes, prodes, and breathing treatments.  Bella cried with him during one of his procedures.  (She may have thought they were getting her next, but I think it is because they were poking her brother.)   He is doing so much better and today took his first official walk right before nap time (why they have their plugs).  I was so excited!  I called Bret right away.  Daddy has been doing walking practice with the kids every night.  Looks like it has paid off!  This is the 5th walk when I finally thought to grab the camera!  Don't mind my poor video skills or  high pitched excited voice!

Judge Harris finalized Bella's adoption on February 23rd.

Check-ups...

Tyler and Bella had their check-ups today!  They are in great health and growing so fast!  Below are their stats:

Bella - 12 months
20.3 lbs - 35th percentile
30 inches long - 75th percentile
45cm head circum - 50th percentile

Tyler - 15 months
25.9lbs - 50th percentile (without helmet)
31.5 inches long - 60th percentile
49.5cm head circum - 95th percentile

Tyler's body is catching up to his head!  YEAH!!!  Hope to have his helmet off in April, but stay tuned.  They are having so much fun exploring together and love playing in the bookcase.  Too cute!
